By using True North Gardener's services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Our services include landscape design, installation, maintenance, and related gardening services in the Chicago area.

Service Scheduling

Services are scheduled based on availability and weather conditions. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain scheduled appointments, but may need to reschedule due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Late payments may incur additional fees.

Property Access

Client agrees to provide reasonable access to the property and any necessary utilities (water, electricity) required for service completion.

Liability

True North Gardener carries appropriate insurance coverage. Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities not properly marked.

Warranty

We provide a limited warranty on plant materials and installations as specified in individual service agreements. Warranty terms vary by service type and plant species.

Cancellation

Services may be cancelled with 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less notice may incur charges for scheduled labor and materials.

Service Limitations

While True North Gardener strives to provide the highest quality gardening and landscaping services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes due to factors beyond our control including weather, soil conditions, pest issues, and natural plant variations.

Weather Dependency

Gardening and landscaping services are weather-dependent activities. Severe weather conditions may affect service scheduling, plant survival, and project timelines.

Soil and Site Conditions

Existing soil conditions, drainage issues, and site-specific factors may impact plant growth and landscape success. Soil testing and amendments may be recommended but cannot guarantee specific results.

Plant Material

All plants are living organisms subject to natural variations, diseases, and environmental stresses. While we select healthy, quality plants, we cannot guarantee long-term survival without proper ongoing care.

Underground Utilities

Client is responsible for marking underground utilities before excavation work begins. True North Gardener is not liable for damage to unmarked utilities.

Existing Conditions

We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions including but not limited to drainage problems, soil contamination, or structural issues that may affect landscaping projects.

Our recommendations are based on horticultural best practices and local experience. Results may vary based on maintenance, environmental conditions, and other factors beyond our control.
